adMingle 2014 – The Next Generation of Social Media Advertising

At the end of last year, whilst browsing through our Facebook feed, we came across a beautiful quote by John C. Maxwell.

“Dreams require down payments. Dreams are free, but the journey isn’t! There is a price to pay. When you find your ‘Why’ you’ll find your ‘Way’. When you develop your will you will embark on your way. Many people start; few people finish. Many people have a dream; few people achieve their dreams”

Just over a year ago, adMingle was just a name to a dream, to a dream that one day sharing between people will change forever.

You might well ask ‘Why?’ did we start with the adMingle Journey?

The answer: “To show people the value of their own their opinions!”

eMarketer recently released a statistic that people spend more than 8 hours a month using social media.

That’s a whole working day a month that you’re not getting paid…

This year social network advertising spend in the UK is expected to reach £7bn. This is a £7bn spent by brands on social media networks with one aim; to reach us, the people that share!

We all have the things we love and care about, like what we wear and where we love to shop for it, which car we drive, what music we listen to, the food we eat, where we read our news, events that we love to attend, and where we like to meet our friends. We all have the things we are passionate about, and in the 21st. Century we love to share those things with our followers, opening our lives and opinions for public debate. We all have an opinion.

When we discovered the Why.

We decided to launch adMingle to help people to get in touch with the brands and services that they are most passionate about. As we do, people continue to do the same thing that do today – share. The twist here is simple – people benefit financially when they express their opinion with adMingle.

This year the Harvard Business review published a study that there are hundreds of new job titles that never existed 10 years ago! They claimed that in the next 10 years the way business is going to be conducted will be different; we’ll have more new jobs being practiced from wherever we are.

adMingle has created a new job title for all of us, and we call that job Nano-Publishing. Not only are publishers like The Guardian, BBC and The Sun expressing their opinions but we, the people that share, are also publishers in our own right, with our own audiences interacting with our opinions.

2013 was an exciting year for adMingle. We managed to launch in 5 countries; Turkey, UK, Italy, Indonesia and Israel and next month we will launch in Germany, France and Russia.

So far we’ve managed to convey our message to hundreds of amazing customers, some of the world’s largest organisations, on how sharing should be done in the 21st. century.

So far more than ten thousand Nano-Publishers have joined adMingle for this amazing ride. We’ve launched more than 100 campaigns in several countries this year. And the reaction, of people that decided to join those campaigns and share their opinion about the brands they love, was amazing.

We’ve created a way to interact that no other advertising medium had ever managed to create.
In 2014 we expect to be in more countries, creating more interactions between brands and Nano-Publishers, a year where more people will join adMingle to express their opinion, changing the social economy one share at a time.
